Do you charge for estimates?
No. Estimates are free, whether you bring the lamp in or email photos of the base, socket and cord.
How long will my repair take?
Standard rewires and socket work run three to five business days. Chandeliers, antiques and custom shades take one to three weeks depending on parts.
Do you use original or new parts?
Both. Anything carrying current is replaced with UL-listed modern hardware. Decorative and structural pieces stay original when they are sound, and we source period-correct hardware when they are not.
Can you make a lamp out of an object I own?
Yes — vases, jugs, bottles, candlesticks, sculptures and found objects. We drill or route where needed and fit a proper cord set and socket.
Do you do house calls?
For hanging fixtures and chandeliers in the Denver metro area, yes. Portable lamps are best handled at the shop where the full parts bench is available.
Is it safe to use LED bulbs in an old lamp?
Usually, and often safer since LEDs draw less current. Match the base type, use a dimmer-rated bulb if the lamp is dimmed, and use a real 3-way LED in a 3-way socket.
What payment methods do you take?
Cash, major cards and business checks for commercial accounts.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes. Parts and labor on wiring we install are warrantied; call us and we will make it right.
Can you match a replacement lampshade?
We size shades to the base proportion and fitter type, and can order drum, empire, bell and coolie shades in linen, silk and parchment.
Do you service commercial properties?
Regularly. Hotels, restaurants, offices and property managers send batches; we inspect, repair, tag and return everything on one delivery.
